Watch Your Head, and the Heat!
Whether at work, at home, or otherwise, concussions should never be taken lightly. If an individual bumps his/her head, have them sit down and check them for the signs and symptoms of concussion. If it's determined that they may have a concussion, take them to the hospital to be evaluated by a medical professional.
Here in the Midwest and all across the country the temperature is starting to rise drastically, posing a threat of heat-related illness for those that work outdoors.Individuals are at an even greater risk for heat-related illnesses when there is a quick change in the temperature because the body is less able to adapt to the physiological requirements of hot weather.
